q3 data - 316 model 3's! almost caught model X on 320, will it catch Model S(546) in December?

‘Tis annoying when the data sets do not have sufficient granularity to properly slice and dice them. NSW data sets do have a table though to reveal the BEV fleet, namely total number of cars registered by motive type. But how many of those are Kona BEVs - no idea. Teslas can be separated out because there’s a separate table for vehicles by manufacturer.

The other problem with new registration stats alone is that building them up over time is not a fully accurate picture, because they only capture market additions not market deletions. Cars removed from the fleet because they’ve been written off, transferred to another state, or are no longer registered are not captured. That is why total fleet stats are also required.
