Quarter mile comparison, MYP to Bolt... surprised me!

The Bolt is actually faster than the MYP... in chill!

Dragy results for my 2017 Bolt EV:

Zero to 60 6.99 sec, 6.7 sec with the 1 foot roll out.

60' . . . . . . 2.60
330' . . . . . 6.70
1/8 . . . . . . 9.96
MPH . . . . . 75.34
1000' . . . . . 12.78
1/4 . . . . . . . 15.18
MPH . . . . . . 93.20

Dragy results for my 2021 MYP in Chill:

Zero to 60 7.61 sec, 7.31 with 1 foot roll out.

60' . . . . . . 2.64
330' . . . . . 6.90
1/8 . . . . . . 10.30
MPH . . . . . 72.91
1000' . . . . . 13.19
1/4 . . . . . . . 15.65
MPH . . . . . . 92.24

Sadly, the Bolt max speed is 93 mph, and it hits that well before the end of the 1/4 mile... and it ramps down power starting when it hits around 90 mph until it hits the speed limiter. If it didn't have that speed limiter and the ramp down in power before the end of the 1/4 mile it could hit a low 15 or high 14 in the quarter.

What were the MYP non chill numbers?

I love dragy.

I have a couple dragy related posts, I did dragy with the stock wheels, dragy with the Gemini's, and I did a comparision between the performance levels you get at different SOC percentages. Very clear that the battery is the limiting factor in the MYP, since with every percentage of SOC you go down the car gets slower. It is my understnading that this does NOT happen with the MYLR... I don't know about the MYLR with AB. Look up the threads using "dragy" and my user name.
