This may be a silly question, but the wife and I noticed that the windshield glass as shipped from Tesla has a distinct red hue to it whereas the side windows have a blue hue to them. You can pretty clearly see the difference in spectrum by just looking at a white object out of each window.
Wondering if there is an advantage to the red hue for driving? I seem to remember reading that brown sunglasses are better to drive with than grey ones? Is this the same concept? Is there a reason for the different tinting of windows?
