Question about ID at delivery

My wife and I are set to pick up our Model 3 on Monday. Both of our names on the registration and loan. All documents are uploaded to our Tesla account including both valid DLs. However, the wife's DL is set to expire this weekend and her new license has not arrived yet. During delivery, how scrutinized are the DLs?

We picked up our 3 yesterday and both of us are on the registration. They didn't ask for our licenses or proof of insurance. They just needed is to both sign the paperwork.

IIRC, the delivery guy at Fremont asked for my drivers license but don't remember how closely he read it. I'm assuming he was just checking the address and DL number.

I never understood the issue with an expired license being used as an ID. Yes, an expired license isn't valid for driving, but it's still an ID and it's still me, so what the heck does an entity using it solely to identify me care that it's expired? (This is not meant as a criticism of the OP's concerns, by the way.)
