Question about lease returns

I did not and they had room to bring the price down on mine. This was a heavily discounted inventory car and there is NO WAY someone will/should buy it at the current buyout amount...one can buy a CPO similar to my car with 20k miles less for $20k less.

Maybe they thought it wasn't even worth trying :)

I tried and tesla would not negotiate at all. No mileage forgiveness, NADA. My residual on my 2015 P90DL was ~$92k. I saw when they listed my car for sale, ended up selling for ~$59k, with 40k miles. I could have bought it for that CPO'd, crazy...

My 2017 S75 comes off lease in Aug 2020 with <20K mi. This kills my plan to buy it and sell for a small profit. Residual lease prices are much higher than apparent market price. That was good for us because if lower, we would pay a much higher monthly lease payment. Was anyone offered a new vehicle for the same lease payment? Mercedes often makes this offer to keep you as a loyal customer.
