Question about speed assist

Hello All,

I'm not sure if I understand what the car should be doing. I've got the speed limit set to relative +7mph when I engage it, it sets the limit at the speed limit +7mph as I would expect but when the speed limit changes the "MAX" speed stays the same, is that correct or should it change as the speed limit changes? I couldn't find the answer in the manual.

Thanks in advance!

I drive to the Coast of Oregon frequently. The road is posted at 65 mph. If I use self driving mode, my car limits my speed to 55. There are some curves going through the Coast Range that are best not done at 65. Maybe you’re driving on a road that your Tesla is hesitant (?) to run at full speed... Regardless, safe driving to you.
