Most of the M3s have been delivered in California, which is in a stubbornly warm, dry weather pattern, so not much snow data to be had there. I know some M3s were delivered to employees back East, I wonder.... are they still under a gag order?
Leave CA in the winter? Surely you jestYes, unless CA non-employees travel in their cars.

All season tires are a pox. This is why I will have a second set of wheels with proper winter tires for going to Tahoe… it's not that big of a deal to swap the wheels around if it prevents things like this.
I'm not sure even snow tires would have helped here. It's very icy and the car was obviously moving too fast into this turn.I'm just going to leave this here for now

And it even had chains on the rears.
You'll need new rims too, not just tires. It takes tons of space to store, I wouldn't have the space

I wish! Someone posted on Google photos group.Ouch. Hurts the eyes... Possibly first model 3 accident? SlicedBr3ad are you the owner? If so, how has the repair process been?
Is putting chains only on the rear recommended? EDIT: disregard... Quick google search revealed the answer. Though I wonder if the car is at more of risk of this type of accident due to traction differences between the front/rear.
