Question on currencies

Still waiting for the basic $US 35K model.
Question. Do we Canadians have a choice of paying in US currency or is everything converted to $CAD which we will get dinged with the conversion ?

You buy the car from Tesla Canada and pay the Canadian price in Canadian currency.

No. Base is 45,600 CAD. Unless they decide to update it again when it's available.
