Question regarding loan funding

Hi everyone, this is my first time being with a credit union getting my loan started before delivery. My delivery should be anywhere from tomorrow to December 2nd for MY LR. The credit union put the VIN number on the check for funding. I had a couple questions regarding this:

1. What if we reject the car due to way too many issues?

2. What happens if Tesla now changes the VIN prior to scheduling delivery date?

They have funded multiple Teslas before and iirc the VIN can be dynamic(if they changed the car last minute due to issues they found) while the RN is static. Any info or experience is greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Pretty sure you just have to work with your CU rep and just let them know of the VIN change. They would just need to update their paperwork, not much you can do on your end except for connecting the dots between Tesla and the CU.

You will likely need to do the same with your insurance company as they will need the VIN info for the policy.
