Questions on my, new to me 2011 Tesla Roadster || Signature 250 Support (153) || Utah

It's my understanding that you can keep your Personal vehicle if it was a vehicle that was offered for sale in the United States. If it was a vehicle that was never offered here, it's a temporary permit, though I've seen (YouTube) people who continue to renew their temporary permit...

This one was imported titled and registered in the US right from the start, vehicles brought over for temporary personal use are never titled and plated in the US (as I understand it)

I'm definitely not an expert on this, but I have 3 vehicles that aren't found in the DMV, or Insurance databases...

2012 Local Motors Rally Fighter
1990 Mercedes 300GE (Europa Import)
and now 2010 Tesla Roadster from Switzerland....

I hope to get OVMS sooner than later, but I understand it'll switch to 4G here shortly, and I'm not sure those are available yet?
