So, I am new to this, so please help me out.
I park at somewhere not home and walk away. The car will lock itself and start the sentry mode.
How does the "notification" work if the sentry mode is triggered.
I have never gotten any "notification" from the car, but I am not sure if it is something that you need to set it up first?
Also, if I go to Setting, Security, there is a menu item that says "Alarm Mode" which is greyed out all the time. What is this?
When I get in to the car the pop up window says I have sentry mode entries and I can see people walking around the car or car pull across my car into the parking spot, etc. Do they not trigger the "notification" but records as "sentry mode triggered" events?
I am confused. Please explain and educate me please.

You only get a push notification on your phone if the car alarm is triggered. E.g. someone breaks into the car and opens the door.

If the alarm is not triggered, then any Sentry Mode recordings can be viewed from inside the car once you get in. But otherwise no notifications on the phone.
