Hoping the dog likes the new car!

The only issue was getting Tesla to send me the purchase agreement so I could get the loan completed.

Pick up went great and the car is perfect so far. Definitely better quality control than 4 years ago.
Picked mine up today in Mesa, zero issues and all went smoothly. What a change from my first two cars, they’ve upped their game. And I didn’t fully appreciate how much better the MY is from the initial debut when we bought - truly feels like a professional product, couldn’t be happier.

Ordered a Quicksilver w/white interior. I had a light silver 2018 3, so I'm partial to silvers! It's been almost 6yrs since I got my 3, and it's funny how the order process has changed. Back then, spoke to no one. This time, I got to call someone because the promotional 1.99% wouldn't show up. VIN already showed up, so I guess it's an inventory car?

Mine was on the way from the factory when I ordered, picked it up a few days later. Yours should have shown in inventory when you ordered but if so I doubt it sat for long as the Quicksilver is very popular. Enjoy! Loving mine, much better than the 2020 I had.

Just canceled. My trade-in offer was awful! $14k! My car is still beautiful. I just removed most of the PPF, etc., and it's pristine. The front bumper looks so much nicer without it. I didn't realize it was yellowing. I cannot understand how my car is worth so little! 69k miles, 100% EPA-range still. The pic is yesterday. Why are they lowballing me?

Anyhow, now I've lost my enthusiasm for a new Y, and fallen back in love with my old 3. I'll wait until Juniper comes and re-think it. Hopefully, the CT-single motor is available then as well, and I can compare.

You can check kbb.com to see what the blue book value is for your car. $14k seems very low, but remember any dealer is only going to offer what the car is worth to them. If they are flush with Model 3s and are only going to turn around and sell it on the wholesale market then it may not be worth much to them.

It looks great but it's 6 years old now, at least 7 when you trade it for a Juniper. As Sleepydoc mentioned, trade in is always lower as they plan to re-sell it at a profit. That's why I've almost always sold my cars privately or skipped the whole process when I leased BMW's. I traded in my 2020 MY a month or so ago but mainly to avoid having to sell it myself and also was getting such a great deal overall I didn't sweat it. See what the actual trade in and private party sales prices are for your car right now before you make a final decision. I guarantee you won't get 1.99% financing on a Juniper and you might not get the $7500 credit either - a bird in the hand as they say. Let us know what you find on the Kbb/Edmunds/etc.. sites and if you reconsider before the financing deal goes away which is pretty quick. Unless you plan to pay cash of course but that's foolish IMO when your money will do much better invested than passing on the financing deal.

Thanks to Sleepy and Dennis. I'm going to sell it to one of my siblings, when the time comes. They all want it, because they know how nice I've kept it. Plus, it has 100% of its original EPA range.

Sure, we could lose the fed tax credit, but I don't think so. I think the credit and the FSD transfer will probably still exist, but of course, the low finance rate won't. Then again, by Summer, the regular interest rate may have dropped to around 5%. So, while I have cancellation remorse, I'll get over it, as my 3 is still a beaut!

I ordered a Quicksilver LR today to replace my totaled YLR. Luckily they had an inventory one with white seats so just right for the cheap financing.
Question though - do the current Y's still come with the cargo cover (parcel shelf), I've also heard of some folks getting the little rear door PPF included as well.
Although with this color I may swing for PPF for the whole car.

Yes, they come with the parcel shelf. It seems the small PPF pieces are a northern clime thing, mine didn’t come with it. I’ve done the whole front end PPF package on my first two Teslas but have opted out this time. I’m taking a 3000 mile trip in a few days and packing plenty of cleaner, rags, and microfiber so will see how the finish holds up and if I reconsider.

I got a parcel shelf but no PPF, so definitely not a northern clime thing.

I just recently joined and wasn't aware of this new color. It seems as if these have already arrived and delivered but funny I have yet to see this color anywhere around my area.

I'm just starting to plan for my next ride since my current lease will end mid next year and this new color sounds very intriguing. Can't lie!!

I guess I'll need to pass by my local Tesla place and see if I can actually see this cold in person?!
