Radar detector 12 v cord in model 3? Anyone have radar detector ?

Hey so cant seem to figure out how to get my escort 9500ix corded radar working in the m3. Has anyone got their corded radar working in their m3? Right now since the 12v port is in the center console, cant close the lid with the cord going through. Are there any tricks?

If anyone has one in their car can you show a pick how your running the cord.

Use an extension cord or splitter/hub line this. Allows you to reach the mute button and, if the cable is straight, not curly, and you position it like in the picture, the console will close without pinching the cable.

Are you opposed to hard wiring it in? I'm hearing reports that the recent software updates have stopped switching the usb and 12v cigarette lighter ports on and off, which means your radar never turns off if you use those ports.
