Radio and streaming problems

Hello. Just got a MS 60D few days ago with base sound system .
1. AM radio stations do not work. Regular or HD. Anyone else have this problem?
2. Slacker radio - asked delivery specialist if I need to make a name and pw during delivery. She said no and entered both herself. Logged out by itself next morning. Do you all have your own login or was provided by tesla?
3. I am assuming that sometimes streaming music is a little delayed also for you all since it's through the internet and depends on signal strength?
Thank you.

Never listen to AM so I couldn't tell you. Regarding Slacker, you can call Tesla Customer Service, give them your VIN and they will give you the Tesla account login and password.

Hubby noticed problems with our AM reception after picking up our car and recently mentioned about it in another thread. Same stations he tried to tune in come in just fine in our other car when parked near each other. He wondered if the AM antenna was connected but we haven't had a chance to take into the SvC yet. Interesting you have a similar comment.

As for Slacker I know hubby has listened to it while driving but beyond that he hasn't mentioned anything. He's never used Slacker before and wasn't aware what it was. With the AM radio not working he found it and likes it. I would assume it's paid for by Tesla and just comes on without logging in...until the contract period is up but not sure if it was configured for us already at delivery.

Regarding Slacker, was reading the manual a bit more today and thought I'd come back and share this from "Media and Audio" Page 110:

Note: Tesla also provides you with a complimentary four-year Streaming Personal Radio account. To use your own Slacker Plus or Premium account instead, scroll to the bottom of the Streaming source, enter your credentials, touch Use High Bitrate to stream higher quality sound, and press LOGIN. (To switch back to your Tesla account, simply touch USE TESLA ACCOUNT; you don't need to enter a user name or password for your Tesla account.) You can purchase your own Slacker Plus or Premium account at www.slacker.com. Model S does not support basic (free) Slacker services.
