Radio goes silent

The FM radio on my Y, software version 2021.4.18, randomly goes silent. The audio will not return until the cars is left in sleep mode. Other media works such as Karaoke, or streaming radio. Just the local radio drops out. This has happened at least 4 times in the past month. Several reboots have not solved the problem. Anyone else have this issue?

Many times FM radio faults can be traceable to a loose antenna cable connection to the infotainment console, else a bad FM antenna. I suggest opening a service request in the Tesla app.

I am having the same issue in my Model 3. The radio eventually stops working until I reboot the car - then I'm good again for a while.

I don't think it's an antenna issue since a reboot fixes it each time.

Started happening after the last SW update.

I am also seeing this issue (Car is 5 weeks old). We also did a long term test drive by renting a M3 off of Turo prior to buying, and it had the same issue. A bit annoying, to be sure.

Did you get this fixed I had my Y for 6 months and my radio drops bout regularly
