Radio self unmutes

After leaving my radio muted (the speaker X symbol) my radio comes back again anytime after a door is opened/closed or I receive a phone call, basically anything that engages another sound turns on the radio. I consider this a bug in the system software. This is quite annoying. Does it happen to you too? Any suggestion?

It's happened a few times to me where I mute the radio before leaving the car. It's back on when return and half the time, it's just static for a good 20 seconds, which I why I muted it when I left in the first place.
