Rainbow "warning" at taillights

Has anyone seen such rainbow banner tagged at the taillight? I was driving on freeway and thought the trunk was open. I stopped to check but it was closed. No effect on autopilot or automatic lane change. Any thoughts?

I just started to get that today. Presumably something to do with an update but my car's pretty clean right now so I'd be surprised if the small amount of dust on the sensors should cause a mis-reading.

That's definitely the proximity alert that you're seeing. I only see that while driving when I have a bike hitch mount installed. If you're certain your sensors are clean, then I guess it's either a bug or a hardware defect.

Try rebooting. I had a persistent rear quarter proximity alert and all other FSD visualizations broken one time and a reboot fixed it.

definitely looks like the proximity sensor is experiencing a bug, or is dirty/damaged/faulty

Had this about a month ago, and then again recently a week ago (but the second time it was just the left side). Didn't go away until my next drive, after the car went into deep sleep.
