Defended my bachelor thesis yesterday. Was about dynamic electricity prices for management of EV charging times. The guy after me had a totally different topic, "Implementation of an algorithm for quantitative analysis of gas flows based on optical investigation methods"

The professor noted this before we started, and some conjenctured "Maybe we can fuse the 2 topics together, and buy a Tesla for the institute"... I don't know how he arrived there, but I got the feeling he wants one...

The title of my thesis was "Analysis of the impact of dynamic system usage fees on the charging behavior of electric vehicle users’ to avoid local network bottlenecks"

Basically, getting EVs at home to charge when it's good for the net. This can help stabilize the net in times of overproduction, which happens at night sometimes. There's even situations when you have negative electricity prices, i.e. people pay you money to use their power.
