Several people have asked about Wh/mi on this run. I can't draw any conclusions yet but here are a few screen shots. Ran loaded to the ceiling on new tires from Mesa AZ to Oceanside CA, then ran Oceanside to Aneheim CA and back with people in every seat. Both runs in 50 to 60 degree weather. Then ran with just me driving with a small travel bag and an even smaller dog. That run from Oceanside CA to the Northern border of Utah and back to Mesa AZ was almost all run at 40 degrees and below. It also included a side trip to Idaho with a full load of office lottery ticket buyers. Didn't win any big money but had a fun outing.
After Sardine Canyon in Northern Utah:
Between Nephi Super Charger and Beaver Super Charger in central Utah:
Screen shot of energy use on the leg from the Kingman AZ SC to the Wickenburg SC including cumulative data:
The screen glare is because I left the factory cover on so my wife could at least be the first to touch the spotless clean screen on her new car that I pigged out on this run. She is a wonderful woman.
My non scientific summary. The first five hundred miles on new tires had concerningly higher energy use than expected. Then it dropped down and despite lots of high speed freeway and plenty of brutal cold night driving the number gradually improved.
I expect it to settle down to just a little less range than my P85D running on staggered 21's. I had no problem making all the travel legs that I have previously traveled in the P85D.
This first 2400 + miles had too many variables to draw conclusions but at least you can see what the numbers are so far. The car did far better under low temps than I expected it to do. I ran more and higher heat that I would normally run because my seven pound dog is always cold and nearly froze solid after each Super Charger bathroom break. So the numbers in the pictures did not include any discomfort for the sake of more range.
And I just realized this is probably the wrong thread to babble in. Sorry not redoing it.

I love the Wickenburg stop. Nothing feels safer than charging at the police HQ. Sorry I missed you. I will be back slumming in the P85D once my wife takes her ride back.
PPS: I just realized that the cumulative number includes at least 25 test drives and every test drive includes at least two ludicrous 0 to ? Runs. So my data is probably garbage. Or maybe worst case and will only get better.

Oh, the horror! You were at the Wickenburg SpC just a few hours ago and we missed you! When will you be by next? Monday night? Tuesday?
