Random Model X sightings

Though I have no pictures, and as many have pointed out it's not entirely a random sighting, I saw three Model X at the Tigard, OR service center today. Interestingly, They had placed green painter's tape over the VIN window. One of them had the Monroney visible in the windshield so I did catch that VIN. The guy at the service center confirmed what we all already know, at least for Signature vehicles, VIN has little to no impact on build order. At this point they just don't want people to hear about their new Model X for the first time on the forum.

It's great to see progress being made even if mine's not one of the one's that's ready to be picked up.

I resemble that remark. And yes, based on design studio and e-mail from intelligent-sounding Tesla person, non-P will have spoiler fixed in the "attack" position (e.g., "up").
If that is the case then why does the P have a reported additional 1.6% performance improvement that I thought was brought about by the active spoiler? This is only supposed to be effective at speed so I don't think you are going to save 1.6% when its parked at low velocities.

Outside Mojave, Ca on its way to its new home yesterday

The full up position isn't the most aero position. It is the position that allows the most rearward visibility. The spoiler then lowers a bit at highway speeds to provide the most aero benefit.

Sorry. Can't remember where I read this but this is my recollection of what someone said the Inside Sales told them as to how it works.

Rogue squadron, begin your attack run.
Haha! No, not you. The Tesla Inside Sales specialists.

I just love how the retracted spoiler disappears into the rear glass on these black ones! So sexay!

OK Thanks.

While I agree the disappearing spoiler is sexy, I think it's not $20k sexy.
