Random rear hatch opening and alarm sounding

I had three episodes today of the security alarm going off apparently at random.

First time I was away and the app alerted me to the alarm going off. When I looked at the app, it showed the rear hatch was open. I closed it with the app and had someone check the car (in my garage) to be sure all was well.

Second time I again got the app notice and had someone confirm the hatch was open again with alarm sounding.

Third time I was home, heard the alarm going off and went out to find the rear hatch open.

The hatch seems secure, I'm unable to open it without having the key (phone).

Software just updated to 2020.24.6.5 yesterday.

Has anyone else experienced similar issues?

Sometimes the little rubber bumpers up in the hatch are screwed out too far, which tightens the gap on the hatch when closed, but also messes with the tailgate closing correctly. Make sure it closes and locks when you’re standing behind it. If not, tighten those by hand a bit so it closes easier.
