What's that rectangular display to the right of the climate controls? Very interesting shot of the prototype!
Unless it's something for engineering debug (which wouldn't be shown on a display car), I'm guessing it's the original VDS. The three climate control knobs appear to be to the left of it, where the current controls reside. A VDS that position would be kind of hard to read; glad they moved it.

Very interesting, indeed!

Those photos of the Red charging seems to be from Europe (I noticed side repeater light). Perhaps a different base mobile adapter like 240V 13a or something like that.

The car on the streets of LA has a stock / black rear turn signal cluster.
The photos that Roadster posted appear to be of VP18 with the whiteout tail light cluster.

VP18/Brabus also has that extra wing on the back not seen on the LA Roadster.
So, it seems like it is probably a different white Roadster with similar wheels.
BTW, VP18 started out Red before Brabus repainted it.

Another possibility is #681
It was wrecked, sent to Europe, partially repaired, brought back into USA, and got some Brabus wheels.

I wonder if someone took that T logo off, and painted the wheels?

Or maybe it is a different car.

Yup. We'll have to strip off the geolocation data from the photos to make that harder...

There was for a while, a monthly gathering at Aldo's in Campbell for old guys with cool cars. It's relocated now. If I remember right (last year), I took Don for a short ride and gave him his first electric 0-60 launch.

Actually I looked at the geolocation and it sent me to a totally different place in San Jose. I had to follow the train tracks around the bay area looking for a place with no fence and a bunch of yew trees before I found it.

This what an EXIF reader tool said was in the photo:
GPS Position : 37 deg 15' 44.62" N, 121 deg 57' 43.36" W

I put that into Google maps as 37 ° 15' 44.62" N, 121 ° 57' 43.36" W
and it sent me to 1110 King Rd San Jose 95122
and so I street-viewed around that parking lot for a while before realizing it didn't look right.
And so, back to looking for clues in the image.
Maybe I didn't format the GPS right for Google maps?
You didn't edit the EXIF data just to send me in the wrong direction did you?
