Roadster spotted by my girlfriend near Peets coffee on Telegraph and Dwight.

She knows I have been on the lookout to spot one and sent me this picture.

I still havn't seen one in person yet.

Any background on this Roadster? Does it reside in Berkeley/Will I see it in Berkeley if I stay around?

Edit: If you are familiar with Berkeley, You can see People's Park across the street. Also, Thanks doug for putting the picture in the post.

I think there is one owner in Berkeley who posts here occasionally. I think his car is white, so you may have more opportunities to spot a Roadster. You could increase your chances by spending some time on the SF peninsula... I see other roadsters at least twice a week, not counting my own, of course. You might also consider going to the Menlo Park store: they have at least three Roadsters in their showroom, right now.

Good spot. The Orange has British 2011 plates too (but is LHD). Must be demo cars.

Could it be Gert-Jan Geerinckx his car? He is involved in the Eindhoven store, but lives in the UK I think.

Or not, could be demo cars as dpeilow mentioned. :tongue:

They are demo cars.... I test drove a LHD 2.0 model more than a year ago and it also had UK plates. Maybe for tax reasons...
