Long Range Dual Motor HW3 990 motor
4/21 Birth Date, 5/1 Delivery with 6 kms
Since new my maximum range when charged was 497 of 499 km. All my trips have been short as has the depth of discharge of the battery pack, rarely being below 50% less than 10 times. I've played with daily charging @ 80% mostly. I've only taken 4 trips at 400 km and 1 trip at 225 km, only charging to 100% those times and leaving immediately when the charging was complete. Supercharging 4 times, on the 400 km trips charging from about 30%-60% (30% added, 12 mins per cycle 141 kW peak). Probably could have made it without supercharging but the range anxiety gets to me, plus I have free credits to use up.
Right now I have a 2.5% battery degradation after 10k kms and 4 months. The last long trip was between 7.5k km and 8.8k km. As you can see my range improved at this time, The first long trip was 6 km to 1200 km (picked up the car and went for a drive!)
I've used sentry mode everywhere besides my Home (in garage), mostly used while parked at work 8.5h per day M-F
I am wondering;
A) Whether to take it on a long trip to reset the calibration
B) How much heavy usage of sentry mode has played a role in the loss of calibration
C) Or is my battery actually degrading, or have a problem.
I believe I have done everything I can to prevent degradation but this is not looking good.
