Looks like the famous Chelsea Tractor is getting a plug on its diesel hybrid model:

Great find mpt. Every time I take my RR Sport to get worked on, I ask when they will debut a 100% BEV. They tell me the Evoque is their "green" offering. Once Tesla rolls out an SUV, the Rover will be replaced. If it were not for my need for a towing vehicle, the Rover would be gone.

Well, in 2016 there will be Model X with 85kWh in EU market. Right now Tesla is silent on future battery packs - they don't want to anger the first Model S customers who all got the 85kWh top-of-the-line pack. But I think it's highly probable they will announce some >100kWh pack when Model X enters production

Jaguar Land Rover might have loyal customers but I predict they will find it really hard to sell a hybrid Range Rover to new customers.
