How did you become the member of FPCU? I will apply for the auto loan if the membership requirement is not stringent. When I checked in their website, it looks like I'm not qualified to become a member in any category of the requirements.

If you're a member of any other credit union then you qualify. I was a member of PenFed, Alliant, a local one here in my city. If you aren't a member of one just join something and then sign up with them. They did want a statement for proof though.

On the FPCU website the auto rate for Credit Score 740+ is 1.99% up to 72 months.

They do not offer a 72 month for electric vehicles. I had an 843 and got the "promo" rate of 2.24%.

Thanks for the correction. I was just going off of their website when I searched for rates. I guess it is the typical "Bait-and-switch" tactic.
