And yes, they were stupid. The new S and X Plaids and LR’s vibrate like F. Many threads on the matter. Tesla has now moved to calling this “a normal characteristic of this model…”. Yeah, they really have.

Vibration on the X makes sense because of the angle of the CV. Makes no sense why the S would have it. Come on Tesla!

Not sure if this is helpful, but I had the half shafts replaced once on my 2016 MS P100D and haven’t had the acceleration shudder since then. I recently picked up a MXLR and noticed a vibration very similar to the “shudder” when I floored it from a stop light and also onto a highway on ramp. WIll be doing more testing when I get it back from the detailer. My suspension is set on “auto”. Might have to resort to leaving it on low… *sigh*. The MX is fantastic other wise.
