The Tariff clearly states the Applicability of the EV2 Rate Schedule.I just read PGE stuff. I see no where that you cannot be on it, meaning, does one have to have proof?
What I did find interesting was this comment on the site
EV2-A and EV-B customers are ineligible for the following programs: Medical Baseline and SmartRate™. EV-B customers are also ineligible for CARE and FERA.
With the SGIP program, one criteria for the ER batteries is medical baseline. So, if one gets batteries, and gets forced on EV2-A, then one is forced off medical baseline. Does not make sense. Maybe this is why the PGE person said one could stay on TOU-c with medical baseline after one gets batteries, even though I may have I misunderstood what she said.
Medical Baseline is intended to give the customer additional low cost electricity on a Tiered rate plan by increasing your Baseline allowance. EV2 does not have tiers, so does not benefit the customer in that way. However, it does exempt you from the Wildfire Fund Charge. The Wildfire Fund Charge is $0.0058/kWh.@h2ofun
As long as we are off in the weeds, what is the difference between medical baseline and EV2-A and how will that affect you?
So someone getting a Powerwall on a SGIP medical grant will get resiliency and the lower off peak rates of the EV rate, plus the Powerwall should reduce any need for using peak rates.Medical Baseline is intended to give the customer additional low cost electricity on a Tiered rate plan by increasing your Baseline allowance. IIRC, you would have to be in the proper Tier of fire zone or experienced two PSPS events in addition to being on Medical Baseline to qualify for Equity Resiliency in the SGIP program. So someone getting a Powerwall on a SGIP medical grant will get resiliency and the lower off peak rates of the EV rate, plus the Powerwall should reduce any need for using peak rates.
I was asking go @h2ofun and he knows better than I about how he is getting the Powerwall SGIP funds. Thanks for the explanation.IIRC, you would have to be in the proper Tier of fire zone or experienced two PSPS events in addition to being on Medical Baseline to qualify for Equity Resiliency in the SGIP program.
My natural gas charts were unaffected by the electric billing nonsense. I can see the gas charts all the way back to when I moved into this house.with respect to the graphs online, the strange part is that they cut off the natural gas charts as well.

Daily/hourly,Monthly - all graphs go away. You only get info on usage and production on the 12 page B&W bill
I think you will find that you can still download the Green Button data. It's only the graphical presentation that's done through Opower that's broken for Paired Storage accounts.
I guess I'll be installing a second power monitor on the service panel mains and taking regular timestamped meter photos.
Is there even a way to see online what your current net balance is?
I don't know anything about Splunk. The Green Button data can be manually downloaded in CSV or XML format. The interval data will probably be either 15 minutes or 1 hour depending on your account. I usually download with the option "Export Usage for a Bill Period" after the billing cycle closes. However, if you like, you can export a date range and the data will usually be available with a few days delay. So I can still get the data and suck it into Splunk for my own graphs?
