Real Matte Carbon Fiber Dash

Also another one that is much more difficult to see on the passenger side and almost impossible to photograph (almost looks fine in the photo below), but when you look at it at various angles can see hair line scratches.

Not sure how perfect these are meant to be, the one that bugs me most is the first two pics.

I have those on my driver side that I can see, just behind the steering wheel, hard to pick up in pics due to the texture and pattern

i see you kinda have those lines every inch or so as well. Goes from the silver trim to the air vents And ever inch or two all the way down the whole piece.

so much for the iso9001 certification posted on their site

Mine isn't near as bad, but also have some obvious and not so obvious imperfections (still waiting on my steering wheel to come):

Same one, different angle:

To me that's less about it being "hand made" vs either sloppy work or possibly a bad piece of carbon fiber used.

I haven't contacted the seller yet as I'm waiting to see the steering wheel.

Damn. Def sloppy.

People with Aroham dash kits, can you send me a corner image of the dash also how straight is the carbon against the lower sliver trim? I'd like to see how round that corner against the sliver trim and how flush/straight the carbon is next to the silver accent. I placed an order for the forged dash and my production images does not look straight

so much for my forged or glossy carbon theory being better…need to check mine and report back if the edges along the silver trim is wavy…almost don’t want to see it since I won’t be able to unsee it

Just checked and it looks ok, gaps are larger on the corner , but the edge to the silver trim doesn’t have that big dip like yours , it’s like they over sanded that area and the carbon fiber just contoured to it

That looks straight compared to mine.

My corners are good.

Though notice this, in the sun/light there seems to be streaks within the carbon fiber. Aroham gave me the same "hand made so not perfect and here's $15 to buy some Meguair's polish/wax" thing. I will try a polish but these seem to be deeper than surface.

Don't really notice it unless the light is shining on it at an angle. But still.

Super concerned about my steering wheel at this point.

After looking, I do have a few “lines” on mine, but seriously, I wouldn’t have even noticed but I analyzed it like I was Sherlock Holmes after reading all the above.

As for the wheel, I got one as well, and it’s all good. Video below I did and a pic really close for something to look at for now.

What did you do with your stock dash after you replaced it?
