Real or accurate Model X Canadian delivery timing

For those of you who had ordered at the higher price before the 4.2% price decrease, I just received a reply from my DS:

"Great news – we are adjusting the price for all clients across the board in Canada in order to honor the lowered price for our early orders!"

Saving money is always a great thing!

Actually I think there may be some truth to this. I reached out to my delivery specialist earlier this week about making a slight option change. He told me the Canadian sigs are probably coming out end of May to June.

It would be interesting to know if those comments are coming from TESLA Vancouver or Toronto

The Canadian Tesla site that says brand new orders of the model X will be delivered mid-July, is inaccurate and was merely copied from the US site, but it's more of an accurate timeline for Canadian reservation holders.

I'm seeing the US site says June delivery.

Tesla Motors needs to be more honest and reliable when it comes to estimates.

It's frustrating being told what I want to hear rather than the truth! It makes planning harder.

I need new tires for my current car, but really don't want to shell out the cash if my model X is really coming within the next 2-3 months.

Having Sigs before June 31 would help Tesla say: international deliveries started in Q2 ...

They said that in the Q1 shareholders meeting, and it's really easy for them to quickly ship to Canada right !

Mine has to arrive by July 4, 2016. If not, my Ontario incentive is reduced from $8,500 to $3,000. Based on what I have to pay for my SigX, do I see crocodile tears?

Yeah, I thought the same thing. As far as I know, it's down to $3,000. However, if you ordered prior to Feb 10, 2016, you can still get the $8,500 rebate, as long as delivery takes place within 6 months of order date.

My brother, his fiancee, my wife and I did write letters to the following 4 people, indicating the folly in this move (the "Tesla Tax"):

Yeah, I thought the same thing. As far as I know, it's down to $3,000. However, if you ordered prior to Feb 10, 2016, you can still get the $8,500 rebate, as long as delivery takes place within 6 months of order date.

No, IF you ordered a Tesla before February 10th. 2016 you qualify for the $8,500 incentive. However, your clock starts on the date of your order, in my case confirmed January 4th. & runs out 6 months later. Therefore I have until Monday, July 4th. 2016 to get my application completed & delivered to the Ministry in Oshawa to receive the previous grant limit.

I was at Tesla Weekend Social event this morning at the Montreal Store and Store director said that Model X is clear to go for Canada and that Canadian production will start this week.

I never received any responses from the Emails I sent out - I really wasn't expecting to either.
I still haven't received a VIN, I hope it's true that Canadian production starts this week. I'm not holding my breath...still thinking delivery will be late June - July.

I'm very hopeful ^ that's true!

I just got my licence plate renewal for my current car. They expire mid-July. I don't want to renew them, knowing that I'll be getting green plates with my model X.

I spoke to my delivery specialist last week and although he wouldn't give me an definitive timeline, he seemed to sway towards a July delivery for my 90D. (It was assumed originally it would be August - September delivery).

We discussed the option of upgrading to the P90D to speed up the delivery time. He told me not to bother. I confirmed my order of Model X BEFORE it was available for test drive in Canada. So I skipped part of the wait (and thwarted forward up the wait list!) by confirming early. He said if I were to upgrade to the P90D, I would possibly get my model X 1-2 weeks earlier as I would be bumping myself to the bottom of the P90D wait list..

Just confirmed from my source at Tesla that the X has definitely passed homologation.
They could possibly enter production as early as next week! I am waiting confirmation on Sigs versus production.
