Boring is your opinion. Expensive...sure. Slow? You are purposely trying to cause trouble here. I think you might be more comfortable playing in a different sandbox.

Realist is fishing. Just check out some of his other posts.

I really do not mind the shots. Time will tell all and, if I am wrong, I will happily own up to it :)

Boring because driver involvment doesn't exist.

Impractical because it is impossible to drive long distances in an acceptable time period.

Slow because top speed is low AND range suffers dramatically at higher speed.

I am not willing to slipstream buses and trucks to get range and others will neither.

If you want to save the Environment take the train.

maybe he's a theorist, luring around the daimler booth the whole IAA all day long.

another interesting fact on the Model S when it gets to taxes imposed by the state:
us germans are taxed from the state per hundred cc.
    S 500 46.63cc BMW 750Li 43.95cc Model S zerocc.
i do not know what taxes are imposed by our state on the Model S.

    Mach Dich vom Acker.

For this very reason I do all my calculations and charting by hand with graph paper. Computers take the fun out of wasting time doing everything manually all the time. I also don't use maps, instead preferring my compass and trusty 1 yard length of rope.

Good news is I'm not trying to save the environment. Bought it for the technology and torque.

    Had three 911 Porsche's and two S5 Audi's--ok cars--911 is quite sluggish vs S.

    Nothing as fun as S.

    Period.

Anyone else smell that--smells like a troll around here...

Over time, I've gone from respecting Realist's pessimistic viewpoint to thinking he's kind of a piel.

When I look into the german Tesla forum it's a different tone.

Owners are already complaining about the range being a lot lower than claimed.

    All trolls, obviously.

Would the plural be "der Trollen"? I guess I just don't get why anyone would spend their time writing on the boards of a product they don't like or buy a car (allegedly) that they don't have anything good to say about.
THEN SELL IT and/or move on with life, der Trollen!

Isn't there a Trabant Motors Club on the internet somewhere? Maybe you hit the wrong "TMC" in your Google search.

Don't knock the Trabi. If they were ICEing your parking spot you and a friend could simply pick the car up and move it:)

Kinda like an athiest going to a church to complain about there not being a God. Or I suppose more accurately a zealot of one religion going to another type of church to stir up trouble. Isn't that tiring?
