Rear bumper lip protection?

Not planning on getting ceramic or PPF, but am curious about protecting the top of the rear bumper. I have a dog who will be jumping in/out of the trunk and want to protect that top bumper piece from scratches.

Any ideas?

I too am interested in protecting that small visible painted and exposed lip. I should have had my PPF installer do something but forgot to mention it. Maybe I'mm ask him if he could do something without having to wrap the entire rear bumper.

I've had PPF on the upper portion of the bumper on other cars. Dogs claws will still scratch it.

My solution is to keep a heavy duty moving pad in the trunk at all times (which they enjoy sleeping on!), and drape it over the bumper for entry/exit.

For me, it's the only solution that works. Also comes in handy whenever someone is loading a heavy item and wants to set it down on the opening as they slide it in.
