Rear bumper to bumper accident, is this a scratch or crack?

Long story short, I was backing into my garage and hit the other car's bumper. I wonder if this is a scratch or crack on the paint? I do not see any dents at all. Is this worth getting the bumper inspected by a shop or replaced?

Cracks, and no I would not repair unless it's bothersome to the tune of $1000.

Paint is cracked. Just leave it alone. It would be hard to notice from more than 1 ft away with the light at just the correct angle.

Plus if you ever park in public (especially street/parallel parking) you’ll probably get bumped again eventually even if you have it repainted.

Try Scratch Doctor. It helps hide a little. Or take it somewhere to have it buffed out professionally. Would be much cheaper than a new bumper.

I put a $10 strip of Xpel PPF on the bumper crease. It might have been $20. Anyhow, you may find that it will protect that part of the bumper from scratches when you load/unload the car, but it may also hide that "paint crack".

The paint spiderwebbed, plastic itself should be fine though.
