When my car stayed under the sun an is very hot, the rear camera gets all fuzzy and purple - but in other condition just works fine. This is an AP2/MCU1 that got upgraded to AP3/MCU2 a few quarters ago, any thoughts?

i had the same problem - tried reboots, waited 1-2 months - it'll work as long as it's not hot and then it would stabilize after a while - seems to be a heat related purple and fuzzy just like your screenshot - I had to have them change it out = problem solved. Luckily I had the warranty as was 800$ without (200 deductible I got a visor issue fixed too).
Same scenario AP2/MCU1 car that was upgraded to MCU2/AP3. I wonder if there's some issue on their end with compatibility?? They should fix this free if a lot of them are affected.

LOL, yeah, I knew my title was slightly click-bait’ish - guilty as charged!
As for temperatures in CH, it only gets hot where Tesla’s are, obviously!
I went to the service-center today and they indeed changed the camera, I’ll wait for the next hot day to confirm it is fixed. Which might need to wait until next year given the water that’s pouring over Europe this Summer…
