Rear defrost distorts window when on

Anyone else have this issue? It only happens when the defroster is on, and seems to go away when it's off. It's not a huge problem but I'm concerned it's a defect and will end up (someday) not going away when the defrost is turned off

I did search. I saw one post about distorted glass (in general, distorted all the time). I was specifically asking if folks have this happen, where it's only distorted when the defrost is on.

Yes, mine does it. I concluded that it's related to how the water on the window reacts to the heating elements and refracts the light.

Happens in mine too even when no water. Mine is tinted I figured it had something to do with that

If you read the second link ent3ndu posted it’s a widely reported issue and if you get them to replace the window you get non-matching glass which may still do it. Disappointing.
