I had my windows tinted 3 weeks ago. I had no issues with the defroster/defogger in the days ahead. In the past few days, it's been quite humid. Each morning, my rear windows are fogged up. The outside temp is showing in the 80F range. I tried using the defogger function and it would not do anything. The wires don't heat up even after 30 minutes. The red light is light on the screen and remains lit. It turns off maybe a little after 30 minutes.
I read online that the rear defogger function won't work for ambient temps above 70s? Is that correct? I find that hard to believe. I'm worried this is related to my tint. I find that less likely as it was working find multiple times immediately after getting the tint done.. Any other ways to troubleshoot?
