For the last month I’ve had the common single “click” sound from the rear driveshaft upon acceleration and regen. I was about to take the car in to the service center, but they didn’t even want to look at my car since I have aftermarket suspension (Redwood GT Öhlins Kit)
I then contacted another SC and they wanted $205 to even diagnose it. Since then the click has gone away. Should I still pursue the issue? My concern is that they’ll charge me, not hear the click, and then move on without doing anything.
Also, are there any more mod friendly SCs in NorCal? I don’t necessarily expect them to pay for repacking the driveshaft since I did install aftermarket suspension, but it does seem to be a common issue even with stock vehicles.
