Rear glass distortion

Hey all,

I picked up my M3 last weekend and noticed some distortion when looking through the rear glass. Best way I can describe it is cars look squiggly and at times it looks like I see double vision. Wondering if this is related to the angle of lines of the rear defrosters. Is this something worth getting checked out and possibly replacing the rear glass for?

It's in mine too. I think it's status quo for model 3. It gets worse when the rear defroster is on, but better again when they cool down.

You sure it's clean and that there aren't any residue left on it?

I only get that at night when other headlights are behind me.

Search the Model 3 forums, this issue has been posted about before. The rear glass in my Model 3 does not have the distortion, but others have reported it.

It’s just the angle of the way the glass is shaped.

Mine isn’t noticeable enough to bother me. I do see it tho. I wonder if I have a slightly less case of distortion?

Mine is clear, as long as the defroster is off.
