Rear screen for Media image squeezed

Did anyone experience this? The picture seemed normal up to the point of showing the Media icons, i.e. YouTube, Neflix etc. Once I chose one, the picture is squeezed from top and bottom, i.e. flatten the image. It is not very responsive to touch. Any ideas?

Rebooting did not correct the issue. A a day later, the screen got back to normal. So weird.
