Question for recent new owners of Model 3's delivered within the past month or two, with the Premium Interior (including subwoofer), do your trunk decks look like this?
If so, have you done an audio comparison with another Premium Interior Model 3 with the older designs which had an opening in the center?

Yes this has been covered in other threads. There's lots of speculation and assumptions but nobody knows the real reason the window was eliminated.

The best guess is that it was done to reduce road noise.

Thanks I guess I'll have to ask some folks to test their audio then. I haven't read any threads around the change of the low-ends of the sub now that it's more isolated into the trunk. I've read plenty of threads about those theories of road noise, air pressure, etc.
