Didn't we decide that the M3 vents are different than the MY and, therefore, these probably won't work in the MY?

It's on purpose. Putting any kind of grille over it will drastically increase noise from the air going through the vent. Not a big deal at all.

Kids can also stick coins and skittles up their noses. Better get a cover!

My brother did this when he was 6 with a pill he was supposed to take. My parents actually took him to the emergency room. I think it was mainly just to scare him though. Pretty sure it would have dissolved eventually.
