Tesla Motors Club

There’s a thread on this in the main M3 forum but since more of us deal with cold weather...

Today my rear vents were blasting unpleasantly warm air when the whole system was set to Auto 20 degrees C with both zones synced. The front vents were blowing relatively cool air like I’d expect at that temperature. It wasn’t particularly cold in the car or outside. It was so warm back there my son had to open the window. Doesn’t seem right?

Any ideas what drives the temperature of the rear vents? Why would it be so much warmer? Has anyone else noticed this?
