Some salvage M3 users have been able to use the Setec adapter even though they could not supercharge

I thought you could have Tesla, for a fee, checkout and approve the restored car for SC use. Is that not the case?

Nope. They have never reenabled Supercharging. The inspection/checkout process just makes it so that you can pay Tesla to work on the HV system of your car.

That is not true. You can research salvage Tesla topics here. There Are 2 inspections to enable sc. one is safety, other is ( I forget). Lots of success stories here.

Also 3s and Ys can still dc fast charge. It would be illegal for Tesla to change your vehicle by removing dc fast charging via ccs1. It violates purchase as is where is. Unless you bought it that way. They can certainly block you from their network even though the method they use is questionable.
