Received the Lighted T rear emblem from Tesgogo

Testing the T light rear emblem from tesgogo.
Much thinner and seems to made better than my old discontinued evannex version. it’s a one piece clear so shouldn’t yellow. Also came with both chrome or black emblems so didn’t need vinyl.

2 questions for you: 1) How was the installation? and 2) Can it drain the battery once the vehicle is in park? (aka does it stop lighting after its parked)

Installation is straight forward. You can tap into the brake light or plate. I chose brake light so it gets as bright when brakes applied.

It’s running off your lights. In park it will shut off

Nice to see these again…did you have to drill through the trunk lid for install (if I remember correctly the EVAnnex one required a hole for the wiring)

Have to make a hole for 2020+. I already had it from previous from evannex but removed it when it yellowed from white plastic.

I’m not sure but it’s simple to do and covers up easily. I removed the original t light way back when it was yellowing.
