Anyone notice if recent backup events are missing from the new app?

I had two events on Sep 29 but they do not appear in the new app (version 4.1). They do show up in the old app (version 3.0).

Screenshots below are from the new app (left and center) and from the old app (right).

My one event from June 2021 only shows up if I click the All Events button in the new app.

I had a years worth of events, maybe 7 or 8 of them, prior to June 2021. But in June 2021 after a Powerwall firmware update and roll-back, my events disappeared and never returned. I opened a case with Tesla through the app but never heard anything from them on it…

mine go all the way back to when the PWs were installed
That's a different problem. Mine were installed in 2018 and both apps don't show anything older than 2020. But I had noticed events dropping off the old app as time passed, which is okay since they were so long ago.

It's the recent events, in the new app, that seem to be missing.

And what does "recent" mean? And why separate them out anyway?

who knows. There are lots of things in the new app that I don't like

Those of us that have had Powerwalls for a longer period of time have noticed that the 4.x apps seem to truncate the history to this calendar year and last calendar year while the earlier apps truncated to about 24 months. For example, now, in October 2021, I don't see the events that I know happened in November and December 2019.

The actual start and end time of each outage is a nice improvement though.

got it. My oldest event is May 2020, so I haven't hit the 24 month mark

My old events show up in that "view all events" button that you are mentioning, but do not show up in the basic "backup history" card there in @power.saver 's screenshot.
Apparently this is by design.

If you look at Tesla's description of this card (Impact Cards | Tesla Support), the "Backup History" card only shows events *for the currently-selected timescale*. Meaning, that if you selected "yesterday" and there were no backup events yesterday, it would show 0 (but still should show them when you select "View All Events". Why they aren't there for @power.saver, I have no idea). If you select "month" as your timescale, that card should show backup events during that month (mine does). Kinda silly if you ask me, but that's how I feel about a lot of the updates in this version...

Interesting. I don't see anywhere to select the timescale on my App for Backup History.
