First, there is no guarantee that your call will actually be ready by the end of May...until you have a VIN, all of this is a crapshoot. But if it turns out that your number comes up while you are gone, you really do only have the three-day window that they give you. This happened to me with my original order: I was out of town at the end of March and had to punt, and now I'm back in the queue and still waiting.So folks - I'm getting a little flummoxed here - my estimated dates disappeared from my account yesterday. I emailed my local Order Support
and they replied back saying my delivery windows is currently the end of May. Problem is now that I leave for Hawaii on May 30
for a week. I understand you have 3 days to accept delivery or they punt you from the VIN and you go to the back of the line.
Is this really the case? They have to have some options to acommodate people in situations like mine?
