Here are my deets:

MYP, Red/White, Tow, No FSD

OD: 11/4/21
EDD1: January 2022
EDD2: December 11 - 31 (changed 11/8/21)
EDD3: December 9 - 23 (changed 11/22/21)
EDD4: January 10 - February 7 (changed 12/11/21)

I was excited to get my MYP as soon as possible... but unfortunately this morning I joined everyone else with the January push. I guess the whole tax credit thing might work out for me now but I was on the more pessimistic side with it anyway, would've prefer to have gotten my car before Christmas

I’m not seeing any common pattern that is pushing all of our EDDs to Jan-Feb (for us late OCT to early NOV ODs). Seems like there is a healthy mix of exterior colors as well as interior. Maybe Tesla is making some adjustments?

Yeah interesting. Something is up. Almost seems like areas close to Texas are getting bumped back and west coast is getting bumped up? I’m in El paso and got bumped out, OD 11/3 to JAN it FEB.

Got my MYP from Burbank, CA!

Car looks great except two things, some odd paint or off colored stain where drivers side door meets passenger, I need to look in the morning, and underneath back of car has some scratches . Again, will do a more thorough inspection tomorrow.

Another thing that is odd is the SA was there as the app isn’t working correctly so he had to send me a text to accept the car and use my keycard. Car didn’t show up in my app, and still doesn’t. So that’s annoying. Shows nothing in my app so features are non existent at this point.

No PPF or flaps (didn’t expect for CA).. but it did come with Michelin pilot sport all seasons! Didn’t expect it where I live, but looks like they are moving that way. Every single MYP had the Michelins. Way better treadlife so I’m good with that.

Driving: AMAZING! Was worried when you hear people say it’s a stiff ride or whatever, I didn’t notice at all. Drives like a dream!

Will update more tomorrow. You guys are awesome and it’s been a crazy journey with everyone!

When my Signature P85 Model S came in (first 1000 made) they gave a red carpet treatment. You can thank Covid for what you see now.

This (or lack there of) hurt my heart. Taking delivery at the dealership was always one of those things that I wanted to experience. I was kinda disappointed that I had to take a home delivery.

Don’t feel too bad. Deliveries at the dealers/delivery centers are nothing like they used to be. They just have you sign a piece of paper hand you the keys and say “if you see any problems, open a service ticket” then they walk away. It’s become incredibly non-special.

Maybe you got my release. Wasn’t in town for the date. Tried to get them to push it 2-3 days and they said no, no car for you! VIN 3265xx. Same build.

Is your SC just too busy to get to your car or something wrong with your car that they need more time on.

Pickup is in Fremont where they build the cars, so I am hoping they were too busy. But I did have a lot of thoughts about what is wrong with the car that they had to keep pushing it out.

Agree, but given some of the changes coming from MIC model Ys plus giga Austin coming online right around the end of DEC, this could be different.

Hey guys, picked up my MYP yesterday at Burbank. OD was 10/7, and was ready for pickup on 12/6, but got busy so I pushed it till yesterday.

Everything looks perfect (will take a look more today, since I was in a hurry to go to a wedding), but mine had like 7 miles in the odometer. Also came with Michelin - on a side note, is the the Michelin one the preferred one for us here in Los Angeles, or the Pirelli's?
