My EDD is back from going to 6-8 weeks yesterday too. Lost a day on the front end so now it's 8/22-9/10.

MYP, Black on Black, FSD, no hitch. Ordered 6/17 profile completed 6/18. Delivery estimate was 1-10 weeks. Sitting at July 28-Aug 14. SA says car with my specs should be being built next week and early august is “worst case”.

Im apprehensive and managing my expectations. Excited to get to know you all. Tesla’s lack of clear cut customer service has created a cool community.

Ordered on 6-20 My no hitch no fsd black on black 20 in tires. 5-11 weeks supposedly. Started out august deliveries slipped into early September 9-3,9-4,9-5 on the early side to as late a 9-25. For the last 3 days it has said October! This morning briefly said 9-4 again but just now October. This is crazy. I cannot rent a car for another month. Sa IMO have no clue.

EDD updated to 8/10 - 8/21, the end date has been sticking the same
(if my theory is correct, I should get a vin around the 11/12 range..)

So my SA was right (vin by Monday) and got a vin Sunday evening @20:32 central time notified by email. VIN 246XXX

Delivery scheduled 22 AUG

My current order is MYLR, 5 Seat, Midnight Silver, White/Black Tow, 20-inch, Hitch, FSD for $69,290 (not including tax, reg, etc.). Should I switch over to MYP for $75,290 or about $6K or $100/mo worth it? Do I need to purchase different tires for the rainy weather here in Vancouver, WA?

I can't speak switching to an MYP, but you definitely don't need winter tires in vancouver

Agreed. Just don't drive like a fool and you'll be fine. If you DO switch to an MYP, it's possible you may get one of the last ones produced out of Fremont. Ive got it on good info that the production at GTexas will be up and running sometime in early October. If Tesla's track record is anything to go on, they will move their most expensive/profitable lines (MYP, then MYLR later) there first. This, I think, will be generally better fit and finish and *maybe* 4680 batteries, depending on if they have the supply by then.

That would be awesome! I didn’t realize it was that close to coming online.

I am a 07/19 order for MYP, Black Ext., White Int.
