Originally ordered 4/10, changed a couple features until i settled on 5/10. Then placed on hold until 7/15
Red/White MYP No Tow
I just placed an order for MYP - MSM w/ white interior and no hitch delivery to NJ this past Monday 08.23 when estimated delivery was 5-7 weeks.I find it interesting that Tesla website now says 4-5 weeks estimated delivery for new orders. My outside date is still over a month from today
My EDD updated today to 09.07-09.24, which is a 2-4 weeks delivery timeframe.
We ordered and have been waiting for our Model X since January. We sold our second car in March as we were told our new X would arrive no later than April. With no car, and surprise…….no communication from Tesla, we ordered a Model Y LR on 8/10 as we are desperate to get a second car. At the time I ordered it, it said December delivery and still does 11/25-12/15. This would mean 9 months without a second car. That was just too long so I ordered a MYP on 8/15 although I really wanted the full 326 miles of range from the LR and as I had an early Model S (early 2013) I know all Tesla’s are plenty fast. Now my Red/Black MYP has been stuck at Sept 1-21 for eight days now. We have waited all year but finally have a vacation planned from months ago, and leave on Sept 16th for three weeks. I am hoping like hell we will get it before we leave. I see very few #TeamRed cars being delivered though. Need a VIN in the next week if it’s going to happen otherwise we will have to push it out until we return. 
That is worrying.. I was in my EDD window this past Sunday, Then Monday pushed out +7/+14. This coming Sunday the 29th I'll be in window again and have had no change all week, I wonder if I'll get pushed to 4-5 weeks also...
Hopefully it’s just a temporary issue… when I called on Monday the SA had told me that “Your car should be built any day now, expect a VIN as soon as tomorrow”
Not holding my breath at this point….
I have read from others before that sometimes this happens with your EDD right before you get a VIN.
My EDD did not change today.

The day after I ordered our MYP we received an EDD of 9/21-9/30 and it has never changed. Granted, it's only been a week since we ordered.
Ordered 8/24 got Vin on 8/25 and scheduled delivery for 9/3. Guess I got pretty lucky

Same config here and ordered on 8/12. I think there are others even before me with that config still waiting.
Definitely interesting how their logistics work but I know it’s not a simple queue line like lots of people expect.
