Anyone know if the factory shuts down for Labor Day?
Being they are 24/7 operation I would guess they do not.
This week seems slow so feeling a flood of vins would come next week except there is Labor Day.
Quality of VINs, with holiday three day weekend, plus Tuesday, likely will be of lower quality due to disgruntled workers who are working on a holiday that is dedicated to not working!

copied from my post in red MY thread

Well, i took delivery 8/31. Originally ordered 4/10 but i modified the order several times after. Took hold off of order on 7/15. VIN 252

Cherry Hill, even with their crappy parking lot setup, was great on delivery day. About 5 mins after I walked in, they pulled my car into the delivery bay area. I signed 1 paper, was given as much time as I wanted to look the car over, and hit Accept on my phone after.

The car looked great. I checked every aspect and was very happy overall. There was tape on the spoiler and they let me know that the original spoiler was misaligned on arrival so they replaced it. Was very happy to see that they took that upon themselves, they care about getting the cars ready for delivery and it showed.

They had some quick detailer and a rag on the counter, so I got some smudges and stuff off myself. There was one scuff on the trunk and a small chip where the hood and frunt bumper meet…..i was nitpicking. But i asked them if they could fix those, and they obliged without issue. The one on the trunk looks great, but they made the chip look worse. So i submitted a service ticket and it sounds like theyre going to replace my entire front fascia for free at my local service center. Great customer service

Now, she is home. I have spent the last two days smiling and getting acquainted. I think I’m in love.

PS dont mind my garage, its on the list! Need to get this wall connector installed..

I ordered 19x9.5 Replika r241's from 1010tires.com and a set of Vredestein Wintrac Pros (255/45/19) from Tire Rack to go with them. I'll order the TPMS direct from Tesla for $75 each (if that's still the price) then have them mounted at Discount Tire. Looks like the tires are already being delivered today, so they must have had them in-stock at the Roseville warehouse. I now have a nice little stockpile of things (mudflaps, NEMA 14-50 adapter, tesla wall charger, wheels, tires) for a car I don't even have a VIN for yet.

Zainthy - where did you get your Replikas from?
Do you know if the 19’ wheels will clear the brakes on MYP?

Off topic but passing the time lol. Any of you planning on DIY vinyl or PPF?

I’ll be placing an order for a bulk roll of xpel stealth ppf tomorrow. I’m not a fan of the pre-cut kits because they don’t fully tuck every edge. I’ve done some vinyl work on previous cars and that wasn’t hard taking my time. First time trying my hand at PPF but I’ve studied up enough that I’m confident I can tackle it with good results.

Are you going to be doing one piece mirrors and front bumper? Wanna do mine too? I can pay you if the price is right. PM me

I havent done large vinyl before just small amounts but I have watched a fair amount of YouTube’s on it and I don’t think ppf much different then vinyl to work with.

i would think the Y is fairly easy over all as very smooth with minimal details to work around. From the videos I have watched the front bumper in one piece is the best but also the trickiest part to do.

Again though I have no real experience and am admitting to being a keyboard warrior here

Haha we’ll see. I’m not sure of the quality of work I’ll be able to do just yet. At a minimum I can definitely provide feedback and tips if I never want to do it again after finishing my car.

I plan to attempt a single piece mirror since it’s a small piece of PPF and won’t be a big deal if I have to scrap it. For the bumper, I’m going to inlay it with knife tape. Since I’m going with the stealth satin finish, I want every corner covered. Most bumper examples I’ve seen just cut and inlay with the remaining flap but that doesn’t cover 100%. It covers the areas that need protection but with the satin finish, it’ll stand out too much imo.
